Brand New Design - Omega Speedmaster "Snoopy Award" 50th Anniversary Watch

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Omega’s "Snoopy Award". In order to commemorate the legendary history of "successful failure", Omega proudly presents the new Speedmaster series "Snoopy Award" 50th anniversary commemorative watch, this watch uses The unprecedented breakthrough design leads the Speedmaster series watches to a new design height.

The new Speedmaster series "Snoopy Award" 50th anniversary commemorative watch pays tribute to this unforgettable space mission 50 years ago. It is also a commemoration of teamwork, composure, wit and courage. It is these excellent qualities that made "Apollo 13" commander Jim Lovell, command module pilot John Leonard "Jack" Swigert, Jr. and lunar module pilot Fred Haise return home safely.

The 42mm stainless steel case Omega Speedmaster replica watches adopts an asymmetrical design, which is inspired by the fourth-generation Speedmaster (the Speedmaster worn by astronauts on the moon for the first time in 1969). The watch is equipped with a blue nylon knit strap, which echoes the blue zirconia [ZrO2] ceramic tachymeter bezel and blue sub-dial. The silver dial is engraved with the "Ag925" logo, the super cute Snoopy, for the first time presented in the form of a silver embossed medal on the blue sub-dial at 9 o'clock, and the silver Snoopy brooch awarded to the winner by NASA The design is exactly the same. Blue PVD three-dimensional hour markers with classic Speedmaster "Moonwatch" style hands. The lining of the strap is also decorated with the Apollo 13 mission's sailing track.

This watch is equipped with Omega 3861 manual winding chronograph movement. This movement is an upgraded version of Speedmaster’s classic 1861 manual movement. This movement lasted 4 years of research and development. Omega is maintaining the 1861 movement. In the case of the same size, more parts are added, and the movement is introduced into the coaxial escapement system, and upgraded to the Master Chronometer standard. The watch has 15,000 Gauss antimagnetic performance, and the daily time accuracy is as high as 0- 5 seconds.

The biggest innovation of this year's Snoopy watch is the dynamic design of the back. The earth on the back of the watch will rotate synchronously with the seconds hand at 9 o'clock, and it will rotate once per minute. Snoopy sits in the Command Service Module (CSM) portrayed in black and white comics, with "magic" pointers leading him to sail around the moon. When the chronograph second hand began to move, Snoopy, like the astronauts on Apollo 13, slowly sailed out of the back of the moon and began an exploration journey around the back of the moon. "Snoopy" orbiting the moon not only increased the complex functions of the watch, increased the watch's appreciation, but also echoed the true history of Apollo 13, which is amazing. The "moon" surface on the back of the watch is treated with a unique micro-structured metal spraying technology, which is realistically presented on the transparent sapphire back.
