2024 Omega Constellation Watches Guide

Omega has launched a new season of Constellation series, continuing the classic design elements such as the star emblem and the claw structure of the bezel. The new watch is surprising in that the dial is made of slices of Swedish Muonionalusta iron meteorite, which not only fits the romantic symbol of the name of "constellation", but also the Widmanstätten pattern of each dial is unique. The Muonionalusta iron meteorite was formed about 4.5 billion years ago and is one of the oldest meteorites ever found on Earth. This meteorite, which mainly contains nickel and iron elements, was originally the core of an asteroid. During the long cooling process of hundreds of millions of years, it gradually formed a crystal interweaving structure. After cutting and acid etching, it presents a criss-crossing "Widmanstätten pattern". This unique pattern cannot be made in a laboratory and can be regarded as proof of coming from deep space.

The new watch is available in 4 case sizes: 41mm, 29mm, 28mm and 25mm. It is available in Sedna 18K gold, Moonshine 18K gold, yellow 18K gold, stainless steel, and two-tone materials. The men's watch is equipped with Sedna 18K gold, Moonshine 18K gold, grade 5 titanium, or ceramic bezels, while the women's watch bezel is inlaid with diamonds.

The 41mm men's watch adopts a large three-hand layout, with a trapezoidal calendar window at 6 o'clock. Through the sapphire glass case back, you can see the Omega 8900/8901 automatic winding movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. The bezel and hour markers of the women's watch are inlaid with brilliant-cut diamonds, and the shining fire of diamonds complements the metallic texture of the iron meteorite. The 29mm watch also uses a large three-hand layout dial, and the Omega 8700/8701 automatic winding movement provides a 50-hour power reserve; the 28mm and 25mm watches have a simpler two-hand layout, the observatory badge is engraved on the back of the watch, and it is equipped with a quartz movement.
