Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Series launched in 2005 was upgraded in 2011 with the Omega Co-Axial calibres and professional dive features; and in 2014 the Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial paid tribute to the iconic Seamaster 300 from 1957. More replica Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watches.
For the first time for Planet Ocean, the 45.5 mm case of each Red, Blue, Black or Sedna™ Gold model is crafted from a single block of ceramic – black ceramic, with, also in ceramic, unidirectional rotating bezels and dials that feature new Arabic numerals and date at 3 o’clock.A new GMT ring has been fixed on the dial that is protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
The combined 24 hours GMT model and diving watch is capable of withstanding ocean pressures at a depth of 600 m / 2000 ft. / 60 bar. With cases and dials of the Black and 18K Sedna™ gold models polished for a glossy effect, and a brushed matt effect on the blue and red versions, rubber has been blended with ceramic to create a unique bezel, covering the first 15 minutes with colour on the Blue and Red models. The hands and indexes of the watches are created from 18K Sedna™ gold or 18K white gold, coated in white Super-LumiNova that emits green and blue colours; experienced divers know that below the ocean surface, red is the first colour to disappear, at 5 m; that blue disappears at 275 m, and that at 300 m, the ocean goes black.
The diving scale on the ceramic bezel and the Omega logo on the crown have been decorated with Liquidmetal® or Omega Ceragold™, while the He symbol on the Helium escape valve at 10 o’clock and the OMEGA symbol on the crown of the red and blue models are coloured using a rubber injection; Liquidmetal® is used for the Black model.
